Finland-based group Amer Sports has reported revenues of more than $3.5 billion for the first nine months of this year. This represents an increase of 15.4% compared to the same period last year.

Breaking this down, it said $1.4 billion had come from sales of technical apparel, an increase of 37% year on year. Almost $1.25 billion of its revenues came from what Amer calls outdoor performance, up by 8% year on year.

The other $857 million came from its ball and racket sports, a decline of 1%.

Among its main brands, Amer Sports includes Arc’teryx, Salomon, Wilson and Peak Performance.

For the Americas, its biggest sales geography, its total revenues for the nine-month period reached just over $1.25 billion, up by 3%. In Europe, the total was a little over $1 billion, up by 2%.

Revenues in China reached $914 million. This figure represents an increase of more than 50%. The figure for the rest of Asia was $337 million, up by more than 40%.
