Footwear manufacturing group Yue Yuen has announced revenues of just over $6 billion for the first nine months of 2024, an increase of 1.5% year on year.
Revenues over the nine-month period from sales of the athletic and outdoor footwear made by the Taiwan-based group reached $3.25 billion, up by 7.2% compared to the same period in 2023.
Casual shoes and sports sandals contributed a further $534.6 million, while $352.8 million came from soles and other components.
In terms of volume, Yue Yuen factories produced 186.9 million pairs during the nine-month period, up by 16.2% compared to the same months last year.
The group’s retail subsidiary, Pou Sheng, brought in revenues of $1.9 billion, but this figure represents a fall of 11.6% year on year.
