The Ministry of Commerce (MoC), General Administration of Customs jointly issued the No. 90 notice on December 19, 2014 on the catalogue of prohibited commodities in processing trade, according to the new directory, the mink, fox skins and so on were put into the prohibited category, which involved in 18 HS codes related to fur products.
The notice will take effect on January 1, 2015. This means that the processing trade policy of fur industry implemented for years will gradually withdraw from the historical stage, and this is an important policy adjustment to adapt new situation of market development at home and abroad, and to create a healthy import and export trade environment.
