Footwear group Birkenstock has announced a 22% surge in quarterly revenue to €456 million, surpassing estimates of €439 million.
The company also recorded a net profit of €52 million, a significant turnaround from a €28 million loss in the same period last year.
For the full year, revenue rose 21% to €1.8 billion, driving a 155% increase in net profit to €192 million. Growth was supported by a rise in closed-toe clog sales, which now account for about one-third of the business and contributed to an 8% increase in average prices.
Direct-to-consumer sales climbed 21% year over year, while business-to-business sales grew 23%, with strong performance across America, Europe, and Asia.
CEO Oliver Reichert highlighted the balanced growth across sales channels, stating that both direct-to-consumer and business-to-business operations remain highly profitable and critical for expanding into new consumer groups.
Looking ahead, Birkenstock forecasts revenue growth of 15% to 17% in the coming year, with an adjusted earnings margin target of up to 31.3%, compared to 30.8% in 2024.
