Taiwan’s Dah Lih Puh (DLP Group) plans to invest $100 million in a new factory in Ha Tinh province, Vietnam.
The proposed 30-hectare facility in the Lac Thien Industrial Cluster aims to create 4,500 to 5,000 jobs and is part of DLP Group’s strategy to address rising market demand and labour shortages.
The company has requested local support for site clearance, administrative processes, and tax incentives. In response, Ha Tinh officials pledged assistance, citing the province’s workforce and industrial land advantages.
Vietnam's trade has increased by 16.7% this year, with footwear exports up 11.8%, highlighting the sector's growing importance.
