Sports group Puma has reported revenues of €4.2 billion for the first half of 2024, an increase of 1.3% year on year.
There was growth for the company in the Americas, with a sales increasing by 5.1% to reach almost €1.7 billion. It achieved the same sales figure in Europe, but this represented a fall of 2.2% year on year. In Asia, there was growth of 1.2% to reach €868.5 million.
Chief executive, Arne Freundt, said there was “robust demand” for the brand’s products and he attributed this to new products that it introduced during the period. “There is more to come in the second half of the year,” he said.
