Helsinki-based group Amer Sports, majority owned by Anta since 2019, has raised $1.37 billion following its initial public offering (IPO) in the US.
The company ultimately sold 105 million shares for $13 apiece, several dollars below its $16 to $18 per share indicated range, valuing it in the region of $6.3 billion.
Investors had shown wariness over the group’s increased reliance on China-based consumption for revenue growth, Reuters said.
Amer’s brand roster includes Salomon, Arc’teryx, Peak Performance and Wilson Sporting Goods.
As of February 1, it is officially listed in New York under the symbol “AS”.
