US footwear brand Skechers is set to relocate its European Distribution Centre (EDC) to a larger, state-of-the-art facility in Liège, Belgium, by 2028.
The new 200,000-square-meter logistics centre is designed to enhance shipping capacity and operational efficiency to support the company’s growth across the continent.
“Our planned logistics centre in Belgium will allow us to increase the volume of goods shipped to meet expected demand in the coming decade while substantially improving efficiencies—a win for consumers, customers, and our workforce,” said Paul Galliher, Senior Vice President of Global Distribution. The new facility, forms part of Skechers' strategy to scale operations as the third-largest footwear brand globally.
Located near Liège Airport and major transport routes, the new EDC will help Skechers optimise its supply chain and is expected to create additional job opportunities in the region, further strengthening its distribution capabilities in the EMEA market.
