Water-resistant breathable laminates developer eVent Fabrics, is expanding its team in response to growing demand and to support its recent expansion into the market in South Korea.
Recent hires include Bartosz Lassak, who has joined the company’s US sales team from Primaloft as senior sales manager for the eastern US region.
Textile enginer Xie Yi has also joined eVent after completing her studies at Donghua university in China. She will, eVent has said, engineer the next generation of its products.
It has also appointed Terry Kin as a market consultant for South Korea. He has extensive experience in the industry having spent 20 years in senior roles at Gore-Tex.
“We are taking a range of steps now to position eVent for future growth,” said company president, Chad Kelly. He pointed out that with increasing regulatory pressures and elevated consumer demand for PFAS-free technologies, eVent was “well positioned for future success” with products such as its alpineST and BIO laminates.
The recent expansion into the South Korean market includes a new strategic partnership between eVent and local textile manufacturer GEO International.
