Leather manufacturing group Sadesa has repeated its message that production will begin before the end of this year at a new facility it is building in Vietnam.
Construction of the new tannery, located at the Phu My 3 industrial park, near Ho Chi Minh City, began in 2023. In mid-August, Sadesa said it was advancing with the project and that its teams were working every day to bring it to completion.
The facility will produce 1.5 million square-feet of leather per month, specifically for the athletic footwear market.
