Chinese athletic footwear and apparel brand 361 Degrees has reported revenue of RMB 5.1 billion (just over $700 million) for the first half of 2024. This is an increase of 19.2% compared to the same period last year.
The company currently has 5,740 own-brand stores across China, plus a presence at 2,550 other points of sale dedicated specifically to products for children. Sales of children’s products accounted for more than 20% of total revenue over the six-month period. In addition, its main collections are also on sale at nearly 1,300 stores outside China.
Chairman, Ding Huihuang, said 361 Degrees now wants to accelerate the pace at which it is developing overseas sales channels. He said this in the context of a “consolidating domestic market”.
